Download generated documents and show them to users in the case task.

Download and review

After generation succeeds, download the PDF so the case can continue.

Add the download step

  1. Place the download step after the successful wait path.
  2. Choose the generated document from the previous step.
  3. Store the downloaded file where the next task can use it.
  4. Route the case to review, storage, or sending.

Show the document to users

Use the task form to show the PDF inline, offer a download button, or both. Keep the task focused on the user’s next action: review, approve, send, store, or retry.

Good practice

Show clear status text when the document is not ready or failed. Avoid showing technical file or job details unless the user is troubleshooting.
